good stuff. i'd like to hear more about what movements you researched, what pieces you might've gained inspiration from, what you were trying to convey, etc. *gestures back to his mini-rant in the misc forum a week or two ago, this is the kinda stuff i'm talking about needing more of* chris |

sure, I recite a bit off my breif, main goals give better shelf precense. For the illustration I choose art deco, doesnt mean I went all out art deco but you can see I got a bit of it, I especially liked the art deco patterns of leaves and flowers, I chose perpetua thuogh for the typeface to keep tradition in it, from my research this is not marketed towards "stupid americans" as it was pretty much put since there other kind is, which is all san serif and modern. As for people explaining themseves on this form in general I dont see it happening because like dek has said before this is a forum geared towards new photoshop users. be on the lookout for a few of my other projects within a week ;) |
