Oh I think your label is much better!! For one it fits with the bottle, all that blue is making the wine seem expensive. If i'm not mistaking spätlese isn't that expensive, right? Your label also looks a bit more modern, but not futuristic. And I don't think the label should look futuristic considering the subject. Wine needs a certain level of class, I think you pulled it off nicely! Great thread, michael. I like seeing something else for once, something other then a banner! |

Wow super sweet work there Michaelp! I really think this is the best thing you have ever done! how did you make it? It's that one of those glue papers or? This is really a nice piece to have in your portfolio. |

Well first I found a bottle, researched about them, found a art movement, gained insparation from it, then drafted it out (thumbnails) then scanned illustration, touched it up in photoshop (crop etc) then brought into Indesign for all the type, then print, on matte photo, then spraymount with non repositional (ex super 77), This was no one day project :D Glad you guys like it because I sure dont. 3jorn hear back about hyper? Youll learn all about spraymount if you end up going there :D

12 days until I know if I was able to get to the interviews at hyper. (June 22)! So not yet. And then it's just the inteview...If everything goes well there I still have to wait for a few weeks to see if I got in... I have to try your techinque someday! |
