Patteman, I know number 1 looks a bit common, but they did want to stay close to the color scheme they already have, but wanted to experiment a bit, so that's why I did other colors.

Figured that ;) No offence intended.

Have recently come in contact with some people who ask me for help doing websites, I will try, tho I never done it. But these "demands" are something I've already noticed. "We want this..." "no, thats not what we want..." and so forth. The demands are nothing to speak against really, the customer's always right (?)...but I can't shake me of the feeling of doing something that isn't as good as i want ;) So I've done the same as you, their request, and a cupla more , better, for them to review...And hopefully I can make them see - They're wrong and me right...

Patteman, I know what you mean. I can't stand it when I have a nice layout complete and then they want to add some horrible fonts to it, or change a tone here and there, which would throw off the color scheme.

Ahhhhh!!!!!!! Those stinkin' demands. Sometimes I want to tell them, "you know, you're suggestions are really going to ruin this, but if you just let me do what I gotta do, it'll be really cool...trust me" But noooooooooooooooo. They want it their way. Oh well. I keep it the way I want it and save it for when I build my complete portfolio.

But I know whatcha mean. ;)

Uhuu, exactly my point. Now, how does everybody handle that ? I mean, when you have been forced to make a website you don't approve of due to clients opinions ?

I have this one that flat out decides how he wants it, and it should contain lightning, bevels and **** (I've stopped the animated gif's...Yea, he wanted those too ;)...). I do not like the site, I do not want to call it my design. And he do not listen to what I have to say regarding taste and good manors, lol, GOD it has become an awful site, but never the less, my question is still how you folk treat this, do you not make it, or do you, but put your feelings at the bottom of your "designer's feelings trashcan" ?

Patric.

I dont want to sound like a know it all when it comes to client work or anything and I definately havent had enough jobs to tell you what to do, but my rule is not to show the client something that I dont want him to pick. Simple as that.
