Yeah, it's where i live (Frankfurt, Germany)...and as for the shutter speed...well...various shutter speeds...and since i'm new to photography....i'd have to so..."no idea"...i just turn on the thing a-ma-jig (shutter speed dial (?) ) until i'm happy with the preview and do the same with amount the shutter opens (I believe it's the "aperture" setting)....Then I take 2 or 3 shots and choose the one that comes out best...mostly trial and error and some knowledge of how the cam will react to certain lighting (I've gotta read the cam manual some day so I get the correct vocabulary for all this...lol)
...and as for the bumbs....man....I got hungry that night so I went to the burger king around the corner....long story short...I bought some food for this homeless person while i was there....and when i brought him the food he goes "i don't eat that...I'm a vegetarian"...so much for trying to help.(but that's another story)

lol...I KNEW someone would eventually notice this. Well....when I'm out taking pictures...I don't really feel like carrying a tripod around with me...yet...I still want to make pretty sharp pictures...so what I do is, i find something (preferably something dry and clean) to put my cam on, and probebly due to the size and shape of the lens, when I try to stable it, it just gets locked in that angle. On some shots the shutter stays open for 3 to 10 seconds, depending on the lighting...so it's important that it's a stable position and the cam not moving in any angle during the shot.
....so..the angle is just one of those side effects of me being lazy and stubborn.

The other day I saw this mini tripod (only 15 cm tall) that my cam actually supports (my cam only supports over-priced Sony accessories), but i don't know if i should trust my cam to a dinky little toy like that then i'm takin' pictures standing out in the rain on a bridge while cars and passing behind me makin' the bridge go up and down and while the cam is sitting on the edge of the railing of the bridge. :-/ ....so I think i'll stick to weird angled pics for now :-)
