6 and 2 are nice, you could pretty much use all of them, as they are all pretty much the same looking. There is a little difference, but not really that noticable. Nice work though man

See, though, the details are exactly what is important in doing work like this. Those logos are all VERY different from each other.

dude i like the 4th one the s isnt too long and the outline isnt too bold... just my opinion...

While it's still in this section, can you explain the design reasoning to keep the box? I know I was the only one to mention it, but I am quite curious as to why you think it adds rather than detracts. It is a nice logo, don't get me wrong. Even if you keep the box, is there any possible way to give it some breathing room. Everything crowds the edge so much. Like I said before, the arrows and the circle have movement, then you kill it with a good for nothing box. ;)

It would be a benifit, after all the critiques, for you to explain your design and why you made certain choices. A good resolution for all the people that critiqued it considering you have signed off on it.

hehe, ok spectra. as i mentioned before, the box is just a sample of a background. sorry, i didn't feel like taking the time to make the entire page that background color. just forget the box, there is no box and it's not part of the logo, that's all there is to it.
as far as the meaning of the logo, i've got a nice paragraph on my first entry to this thread that explains the design.

Ah...gotcha. I make my life unnecesarily hard by worrying over stupid things like boxes.

The logo is sharp, glad you went with the one you did. The best thing about it, is you have it as simple as possible, all the while keeping all the information you want in it. If you added anything more to it, it would just be useless information, and there is nothing more you could possibly simplify. And in my books at least, that makes a very succesful logo.

It makes very good use of a symbol and CAN be sized down without distortion. I like the thick black stroke around the circle & arrow, ties it all together.

HOWEVER, I wouldnt have blurred it.
