6-1 5 grabbed my eye right away. The solution with the arrows is unique, but I don't think it fits the best. Nice work though. |

I'd say 5 because 5 has the nicest feel of symmetry because the arrows aren't too long. it's also the boldest. If not 5 then 6. i feel like the others aren't accentuated enough, especially for your style.

I really like logo #5, too. And leave out the text if you can - it would just weaken the presentation. But I guess text #2 is the best. If you fill in the shapes with color, though - like instead of (or in addition to?) outlines, have an orange s/logo and a blue circle (thinking of the expedia logo now) then logo #2 would look really nice. The stroke of #5 would be too heavy then. Very nice job, krane-whatever. |

i'll have to go with 6...it's more compact and I like the way the arrows are positioned on the circle border.

many thanks for the votes to everyone so far. i've got many votes on #6 and actually began to see how it works best. so, i came up with version 7 as an improvement of 6. still might use a few tweaks. the one inside the black box is just to see what it would look like inverted. not something i'm going to use. |

I'd lose the box. Why trap those arrows? You have some movement obviously with the arrows and with the circle, but then you went and closed everything off. Don't overwork things. The box is just an extra element that detracts from the rest of the design.

I like the 6th one from the left, top row, with a couple caveats. I think the thick outer border is just a bit too heavy (not by very much, though) and it draws the eye to the outside of the design. Thinning it out a little—to maybe 80%–90% of its present thickness—would help make the eye focus more on the internal stylised "S". And to help with that, I'd make the internal black lines inside the "S" (the diametrically opposed lines that turn the rectangle into a recognisable "S") the same thickness as the outside border, so long as you make that outside border a bit thinner than it is now. Plus, the point on the upper arrow (pointing toward about 1 o'clock) looks like it's a bit mis-centered compared to the bottom arrow. As for text...I like the top one, though it could use some fine kerning adjustments, and some individual letter–width customizing. Otherwise, it's right where a logo should be. Good work so far. |
