Doing all the dots manually really wouldn't be all that hard, though. Just use the freeform pen tool and draw them all in. Not the best way of doing it, but since they're so small, it doesn't really matter. At least thats what I would do - in Photoshop. Haven't really gotten into Illustrator yet - I really should, but the feel is so completely different - I dont like it. Why should I use Illustrator instead of just Photoshop? And do you think its cheating to use a reference picture? It doesn't take too much artistic talent then ... you just use the pen tool over the shapes you see ... what does everyone think? tom |

i dont think its cheating at all...... in fact..... i think its still REALLY hard., even when using guide pictures.... it takes an eye for detail... discipline, Initiative (thats for textures and backgrounds and stuff) But mad P.R.O.P.Z (haha loving the Z) to you mate... thats some of the best vecotr work i have ever seen.... My problem with vectors is deciding where to put the shading (is there another word for shading in vector-lingo?). Very nice job, I like the part just above the earphone with the padding facing you, very detailed.
