i like, the texture on the padding, the way the shapes aren't perfect, and the way the whole thing hold together without any outlines.

Wow. Even though it's in vector it really has depth... and a 3D-ness to it. Great job.

yeah very sweet!
Now I know who I will ask ALL my illustrator questions from :P
Just thought I would warn you, becuase it's sure does look like you know what you are doing!
Put it on a white bg instead of gray so that it comes a bit more out of there and you can see it better :D

Did you use a reference picture for that? Or were you just looking at the 'phones when you did that? I might have to try that ... I have a pair of big ones. :D

I've been bugging Krane with my illustrator questions, but looks like I will start coming to both of you. :p

And VERY nice headsets, love how it is so perfect without and outlines.

they have tons of depth .. what about all thoose small dots, do them manually? ;)

anyway, this is why i never get started on illustrator.. i would never be able to pull something like this off.

no the dots are not manual - it's a thing called hatching effects - mighty handy filter:D
It shouldn't scare you - it's one of those things that make you say "oh! so this was all there was to it?? why I could have done that ages ago" once you actually start doing it...
