i no its not the best i just want to finish it and it dosent feel finished any ideaS?

fortune city are real bastards for direct linking. i have yet to find a way to get one of their images to ever work. cant even get it go on copy and paste.

Im about to talk your ear off so prepare yourself lol.....Dont be offended or anything (im not trying to be hard on you or anything)....im just in a helping mood tonight :-)

It doesnt have a "finished" feeling to it because everything in it is too similar. There is no contrast..no focus. When you look at it your not sure where to look at first and everywhere you look after is the same. It creates a feeling of boredom (dont take this the wrong way).

Let me give you an example. Look at the front page of a newspaper. Then look at a page in the middle of the newspaper with no pictures. Which do you like better?? The front page! Now why do you like the front page? Cause there are pictures...text,headlines and the logo. There a things to look at..things that are different... things that are interesting. Now why do you hate the middle page? Because its all text. Nothing is different...nothing is interesting its just sentence after sentence.
(sorry about the long analogy here..)

This is the same idea as your picture. Now your picture is fine..i like it. But it needs more to "catch" your eye.

Now for some ideas

See how you have everything going up towards the upper left? Elaborate on that!!! You have these kinda black and dark blue lines right? So create contrast and use a white (or light blue) between these lines. Maybe add some green streaks or shapes to break up the blue. Maybe Darken the foreground and lighten the background to create depth (u already have some depth with the shape of your picture). Add some color to that black circle in the upper left.....or actually add a graphic there. Maybe put more text. What do you mean by the Future is now?...take that meaning and elaborate on it.

Hopefully that wasnt too painful lol. maybe you learned somethin...maybe i just exercised my fingers...either way!

Just put a huge pot leaf in the middle and a big "MC5" under it.

Change the glow around the text, it's too default-ish. Maybe make the outer glow a bit softer and white, then set the blending mode (of the glow) to overlay.

I also think it needs some shapes or something to add to it, maybe a face in the background.

So far it's nice though.

Hotlinking is a pain these days a few years ago a quick search of the net resulted in a load of sites letting you do as you pleased now there's so many restriction its almost a waste of time going for a free host - but - this might work, its does for geocities.

Before you upload the file to fortunecity change the extension to .txt I wont bother with the mechanics of why that works, it does and depending on how FC have their hotlinking enabled it should work - if not try GC.
