"Why do you put your e-mail in there though?"

Basic watermark. Its part of a bigger watermark plan (which i wont explain lol). Not like anyone wants to rip it...but ya gotta be paranoid anyway. Its my work...my photograph...my time and wont let anyone take that away lol.

And yeah it totally reminds me of a printer ad! Thats kinda the thing im trying to do lately...is get an ad style. An ad needs to look good.....have meaning (or be effective) and usually are pretty clean composition wise (no messy blurs/graphics etc). Those are really the the elements i want to re-create. After all the complicated trendy crap...a clean style is fun and refreshing!

Thank for all the replys!

also... im pretty sure msz070 was joking. Look how he spelled butterflies in the last sentence.

mikeydude, he was being sarcastic when he spelt intelligence that way...
I'd also recommend getting a new email Rodder, because @aol.com doesn't look 'proffesional'. Go for a non-free one.

haha...it was only a matter of time before aol was brought up! Just for the record i signed up 6 years ago (i didnt know anything about computers then) and just stuck with it. Even though i hate it..the rest of my family seems to like it.

Also im planning on buying my own domain sometime....so then it will be changed!

nice image. Reallly great lighting on the photo and a nice butterfly-like flower/tree.
But i have one Problem with that thing: the black black bg to the font. It is really distracting. Why have you done that?

A small serif font on a busy, high contrast background is very hard to read. I needed something to bring the words forwards. I tried to cover up most of the fonts bg (i started from the baseline) so it wasnt noticable but was effective at the same time.

Here is a second version with out the black. (little more compressed to save space)
