dude, you surprise me every time. I'm weak for this kind of scifi stuff. You're becoming my favorite artist on teamps...and fast. :D |

Every time I see that you have started a new topic (made a new image) I'm always like yay yay...what is it going to be this time :D I'm still amazed how you are able to do this kind of stuff with just photoshop... (but the sky has to be a photo, right?) I wouldn't be as impressed if it would be 3d studio max or something...But these are f...... great man! love your style...keep it up :D |

lol - thanks a lot guys - paavo I love your cars too and your site is one of my favs... and censured - nope - no photo for the sky - I mean I use a refference - my window - just outside my building is an industrial site - a factory that makes wheels for trains -makes a hell lot of noise but the amount of pollution it spews in the atmosphere makes up for a lot of nice skyes... - at least some good comes of it... most of the skyes I draw are inspired from my window...the rest comes from a lifetime (mine) of sci-fi and fantasy reading and a bit of PS knowledge... |

No way! That sky can't be painted!? Jeez! I've now looked at it for about 5 minutes and I can't see a single spot that would look as it was a painted! You really should start working as a painter....(if you aren't allready doing that.) |

well - heck - I was a painter...but the money is crappy here for such stuff - Romanian artists really work for peanuts... as for the photorealistic qualities - I have my smudge tool to thank - I'm not as good as eyewoo with selections - I have to do it the hard way - say if any of you guys would be interested I'd do a tutorial on sky or water drawing - if there's enough interest ... it's a lot of work and it kills me to make tuts... [edit]= just remembered - someone else told me about 3DS MAX - I don't even know what the interface of that program looks like - gotta learn it sometime - maybe when I retire... |
