Well, i'm just trying out a bit of HDRI rendering...(A way of using radiosity in your renders which lights the scene by the picture you map onto a sphere). You can see in the chrome ball that it is as if i've actually created the room when in fact it's only a sphere. I still have touching up to do...but most of it's there..Comments are welcome...i've been looking at this for too long to know what's wrong/right with it http://cyblingdesign.com/images/hdritest.jpg |

So it lit up the rest of the image just from the lights and darks of an image that you mapped onto that little ball. Man, technology and all this new stuff we got coming out......

Yes, you've got it random. Dek...the left hand side of the vase was pretty much destroyed by the technique...so i tried to add a bit of depth of field. I'm rendering it again now as we speak, to try and get rid of the crappy results. The render has been touched up a lot...but i think it's a great technique and could lead to many possibilities, it's getting quite popular in the 3D scene. I'll post more versions when i find the right equation..

Yeah, that was a nice rendering, but stil ::: the jar. If the jar is blurry on the edge, why isnĀ“t the shadow blurry at all? |

Much better.. I wish I had a Mac. This PC of mine isn't much to render stuff, probably will take weeks to render that thing.
