::: New Challenge Type :::

I've come up with a new idea for pixel war challenges...

Rather than a mod giving you a one or two word topic to base your designs off of, we will give you a song to listen to while you design your piece. You can then do a visual interpretation of the song, or just kinda give it your own theme, but let the music influence your design. Most people are heavily influenced by the music they listen to while designing, so I think this could be fun.

If any of you are interested, just ask that the mods give you a song rather than a one or two word topic for your next challenge.

I think you have a good idea deker :D.. although it seems like you promoting the pirating of music

Oh gees... i'm not promoting the pirating of music, though I know everyone here does it. We can choose songs that are available on the free radio sites, if there is going to be a problem.

I dont think anyones going to cry about something like that cause im sure they have downloaded something like that before... but yeah i think thats a great idea deker.... nice thinking... :D

I mean, I'm not saying I personally have a problem with it, because as soon as I get my computer back I wann a try this, I was just saying thats what it could appear to be

If you guys wanna use some music, why not try some of mine? We might even use it on the site. We've been using Atari Kids but its like everywhere now, from P.O.D. videos to the new Guns 'n Roses font!

Go for singles that are made public. Like shoutweb.com has a few. Or somebody with a lovely Sonic Foundry product could whip us up a few TeamPhotoshop Exclusive mixes.

I've made some Techno/Trance music with Acid and other things. Maybe you could use a song or 2 of mine. If you think there good that is. Or maybe you hate techno hehe.;)
