Making Grids in PS6 |

I'm using 7 but you can make the grids the same way in 6. As far as the x and y thing, it's probably the same in 6 but I can't remember.

I was thinking people would know some sort of algebra. I used X and Y as a variable. Say if you want one box to be a 7 sq. px., you'd substitute X with 7 (x-7=6) and same with Y, So you'd make a document 6x6pixels for a 7x7 box. For define pattern, it has to be a quadrilateral with right angles (A rectangle, not a trapezoid, get my drift?). Doing select all should allow you to Define a pattern. The pen tool is used for something else. You'd use the Line tool (duh...) to make the lines. Make sure to set Anti-aliasing to 0 in the options toolbar. |

Thanx people - cos i use PS6 i tried the define pattern method - i drew a bold blue line acros the top and left side of the 14p x 14p canvas. It looks good - as for fading it, i will have to have a look later on. C Ya And Thanx |
