I know you went through the trouble, and you got it to work, but I guarantee the printers, upon seeing a 422 MB file, are going to raise their eyebrows so high that they'll be floating 6 inches over the top of their heads like some fantastical cartoon drawing. Unless they specifically requested a file that size...

Im telling you..."TALK TO THEM BEFORE SUBMITTING THE FILE!!!!

If you don't want to listen to someone who has done this type of work, that's fine....I just hope you're able to steel yourself to the derision you'll be receiving. If they're diplomatic enough not to laugh and sneer and roll their eyes while you're standing there, they will surely do so after you leave.

I know, because me and my team did it. BUT...we always made it our mission to educate our clients, because if they gave us what we wanted our jobs were that much easier. I suspect your printer will act the same way. All you have to do is ask them. The time they spend educating you will save them much more time down the road.

OK...whatever you say...I guess you know best.

But 300 MB is overkill, and a waste of time and file space.
