Help??

In the Channels tab I for got to tell you in the tutorail to click on the RGB channel THEN click on the LAYERS tab and THEN click the mask button....

i did exactly what it said

but when i create Mask
my other icon is not black like yours ??

and why when i pull the second icon to the trash
it ask me if i want to Apply, Cancel, or Discard
and i press Discard
and i try to use the moving key
to move mew
but i still see the white bg

help plz?

If it isn't black, pray tell, what color is the other icon?

Also, if you want to get rid of the white backgroung you can't trash the mask... unless you apply it first...

Trashing it and selectiing "discard" takes you right back to where you started.


If you follow that tutorial, have a little patients, and use some commong sense, I know you'll get it.

Ok, after you Control click the GREEN duplicate channel, you need to do a control+shift+I to invert your selection.... THEN click RGB channel THEN go to LAYERS THEN click MAsk.

you have the mask backwards... you are masking mew and keeping the white BAckground

Anyways i tried to ICQ at work but to no avail. I added you to my home list and THIS TIME it does that 'permission' bs. Perhaps that what was wrong before. Check your ICQ now.
