Ok, either I still do not understand what you are trying to do or you don't understand what I am instructing you to do. So lets try this: Open the image and you have a "background" layer in the layers pallet. (disregard "group1" in my images) Make a selection. CTR+J and you have something like this... Make the "background" layer's visibility "OFF" Now with that new layer selected in the layers pallet if you double click it you'll have the layer styles dialog. Select "drop shadow" and adjust it to your liking. If you CTR+click the thumbnail icon in the layers pallet you can get the selection you previously had back. Then stoke it whith whatever color you would like for a border. So there you go, If that is not what you are looking for, let me know and we will see if we can work past the launguage problem we obviously have. |

thank you very much. you have mentioned CTR+J and you have something like this... but you have some step before because you have different background. Where to define this (gray and white boxes)? |

LoL, I just re-read my above post and my spelling is awful! :D Anyway! The white and gray boxes are the result of turning the "background" layer's visibility to "OFF" (it is a transpearant background) |
