Need Help Creating Logo

I guess it's rather fine, but I like more fantasy-stuff with lots of colors ;) , but that would not be something for a company-sticker :D . Btw, the things I explain you are all rather basics. There are so much, so much more functions it is incredible indeed. I read once that no-one can ever know PS totaly :D .
Lets start helping you know :D :
-) first you must select the layer with the logo ; when it is in more then one layer u can link them together: first select one and then the empty square on the other layer(s) (similar to the one with the eye): there should appear a pic of a chain in it. When your image is flattened u first must cut out the logo and paste it in another layer.
-) Press CTRL-T or go to edit-->transform--> scale
-) You can now stretch the logo by dragging the little squares on the lines that appared around your logo
