Well I worked on trying to find out how to make those Pank Tubes everyone wants, and I think I may have found a rather cheap way of creating them. I dont have a tutorial, but I have an example and 3 psd files that could probably help you masters the real way in which the tubes are made. I set up a quick web page (my host doesnt allow direct linking so...) at

http://spacedout.fateback.com

Go there if you'd like to know how to make Pank's Tubes a cheap way, although it works and there is not much of a difference from the original on teamphotoshop.com . Have fun creating a better way to make the tubes

I think we have a winner!! Though I'm sure pank won't confirm anything for us but those rings are pretty dang close.

So way to go "within" :D. I makes sense that all the information we needed to make the rings was on the site and I think pank was just waiting to see how long it took us ring admirers to figure it out!

yeah, pretty close. i saw another post on the forum the other day that had it even closer. although there version wasn't the same width of ring the whole way through the tube. but this is pretty cool.

though i'd have to say pank's is a lot cleaner and sharper and it looks really nice.
