I want to create a textlayer on the same relative position according to the edges of the picture on a number of pics using a macro. I've set the ruler to percent but the text is not relative to the egde so on pics with less width than the one I've created the macro in, the text does not fit in the picture. What to do? Thanks in advance! Johan Umeå, Sweden |

Hey, Johan. Välkommen till TeamPS ;) I can't help you, just wanted to welcome you to this forum. It's nice to have yet another swede here. It lightens things up a bit to hear from someone connented to real life from time to time ;) Hehe, I guess you're after an action that gives you a textlayer on the exact same position counting from the pic's edge, regardless of it's size ? *hmm, made me dizzy. Goes to have a "snuff" and a cup of java...* |

hi and thanks! tackar! ja det är precis det jag vill göra! bra att det framstod av texten, tyckte det blev lite mer invecklat än vad det egentligen är... har du tips på andra PS-forum jag kan söka hjälp i..? |

Njae *goes to english so others will understand* I haven't got any suggestions of other forums, I mainly go here. Check out the resource section ;) The action itself isn't any problem, right ? just how to get it to place itself ? I mean, create a action/macro: 1. choose typetool 2. go to history/action palette 3. create a new action set/macro set name it "my asskickin actions" (real important that part). 4. In this set you create a new action/macro, that starts to record at once... 5. Since you already choose the typetool, click in the document and type what you want (Belongs to Patric Ahlqvist is one suggestion), use a small fontsize (Isn't much that is more ugly than a big copywright text). 6. All done- Stop recording 7. Make sure the action is activated, arrow on top of palette/action options. Choose key to press for the action to start... Now, you've got a action that gives you a text layer with a copywright text in it. This layer is movable, isn't that enough ? Patric. |

no that doesn't quite make it I'm afraid, thanks anyway! ;) I want the action to place the text on a certain percentage away from the left and right edges, regardless the size (width & height) of the picture(s). Something like this: 95% stands for the distance from the top left corner... I hope I managed to clearify this issue |

Yup, it's clearfied allright ;) Hmmm, that I do not know. I'll give it some thinking and see if I can come up with something, but don't count on it, hehe... |
