I've searched and searched and I can't seem to locate a PS plugin. When I go to EXPORT>GIF89 theres nothing there. So I need that pluggin but I can't locate it. If anyone could please help me out here I would really and truly appreciate it. Thanks in advance. Best regards, Drew Barat |

I'm trying to save a club logo onto a transparent background and all that I've read say's that I should export to GIF89 first. Unless somone has a better way. A team logo saved into a transparent file for a web site. Thanks much Drew |

Dude, didn't you read Marble's post? File>save to web select one of the gifs (i know that GIF89 isn't one of the choices) but you can change it to an 89. For example, you can take a GIF128, delete 128 and reenter 89 and voila. I guess that should work for a "gif89." |

My apologies Marble. My intentions where not and are not to ignore anyone, especially here I sure can use the assistance I tried saving for web and maybe it's because my eyes are crossing but I don't seem to be getting it, for now anyway. Tomorrow is another day isnt it? Cool phew Thanks for the welcome to the board, Drew |

Drew: File> Save to web Now, at the top right there should be a drop down menu that has a bunch of options of what you can save your file as, i.e. GIF-128 dither/no dither, JPEG high/low/medium, etc etc etc. It's the very first dropdown menu, right under the "done" button at the top right. so, select GIf-128 , dithered or no dither, your choice. You'll see a small box that says "colors: 128" . on the right column, 2nd from the top. Change that to 89 and bang. That should count as a GIF-89 |
