You seem to have a lot of difficulties to make the effect you want.. I did that a long time ago from a tutorial. If you feel like you can learn with the photoshop file, let me know, I will put a link to it.

I've tried this kind of thing too. And this was the result:

Yeah. Didn't turn out too nice. I tried to have the happy face reflect, got aggravated, then gave it bevel.

I think the best idea is to use an actual 3d renderer and give a sphere a mirror material, so that it reflects, and then put something next to it so that it reflects that thing.

A marble will not have a reflective look unless something is being reflected in it.

That'd be great if you could put up the link, or PM me it or something yan, thanks for the help again. I guess I'm having trouble 'cause I'm picky and want it to look realisticly just like this marble (the stone, not the playing thing) ball in a fountain that's at work :p .

hey phased3000 how did you do that?
is there any easy way you can explain that to me? because i was lookin for something like that like kind of mirror like 3D objects with some reflections on them ... I think the 10th splash of the teamphotoshop.com's entrance page is an example of what i mean..
