Lens Flare Filter Question |

Create a new layer and fill it with 100% black, create the lens flare on the black layer, set blend mode to multiply (that should exclude the black - leaving just the lens flare. (think that what NL was thinking;)) To colour the flare I would use either a selective colour adjutment layer or a hue/saturation adj layer. Sadly, no real way to define the colour of the flare exists at point of use (that I know of) |

I hope you anti lense flare folks only hate unfiltered lens flares. Lens flares on their own look ****, but you can achieve some very nice lighting effects with 'em if used properly...
