Im guessing this is the right forum, but my mouse wheel is kinda screwed up. In anyting, a game, application, or program(such a ps) it makes all these random mouse wheel movements. Such as, when youre in ps and you have a file opened or something, and you move youre mousewheel up, it zooms in sorta, when mine will do that at random and its SO annoying. If anyone knows how ot disable it in ps, please tell me. Thanks.

If your mouse has any software with it, you should be able to disable it in it's configuration panel. Or maybe there is a thing in the windows control panel about mice...

Thanks for the replies, but theres no software for my mouse that I know of and Ive checked the Control Panel>Mouse Settings and all, the only option you have is the number of lines each scroll will do.

Just do a google search for your mouse + the driver. There will be some software that the company makes for it.

Downloading the drivers would probably fix the problem but is there any way how to identify what type of mouse mine is? In Control Panel>Mouse Settings it just says its from Microsoft. I guess I can try to match my mouse with a pic on microsoft.com or something. But thanks.

That is probably the Micro$oft Digtally signed driver. Doesnt it have a name? Like mine is a Logitech - trackball because of that track ball thingy - so that narrows it down quite a bit. If your mouse is that messed up, save up $20 and buy a new one - Lol.... they are cheap you know.
