Hopefully you guys can help me! I've been going almost THREE days without PhotoShop, and I'm dying! Anyway, love the Community, you guys are great! Hopefully when I patch things up I'll make some contributions!

Anyway, when I loaded PhotoShop (After reinstalling due to an "Unknown Shutdown") it gave me this Message.

"You currently have Adobe PhotoShop's primary Scratch and Windows' primary paging file on the same volume, which can result in reduced performance. It is recommended that you set Adobe Photoshop's primary Scratch volume to be on a different volume, preferably on a different physical drive"

Any Ideas Magic Super-Heros? If you do, me love you long time =).

If you press okay it'll let you finish loading the program... PS will run faster and more efficiently if the scratch disk is set to a seperate hard drive, but it's a recommendation not a requirement.

If that message popped up, it probably means a small portion of your properties file became corrupt and lost saved data within it.

That's extremely weird, that shouldn't happen at all. It only asked me after loading it for the first time. But when the message came up, I gave it a swift kick in the balls because no way in hell will I let it touch my other HDD. :p

You might want to scan your HD for any bad sectors. Go and make sure your drive isnt fragmented badly and make sure its not too full. Just a thought maybe....

Maybe this will help.
It closes after it shows the "Intalizing Color Preferences" on the loading screen.
