remember your screen is 72dpi and what you see in a mag is more than likely 150+ dpi be careful with JPEG ing and compressing stuff let IMAGE READY do the down scaling for you. if you are making high res prints always save as a TIF or Loss less format all scanned images need a little unsharp mask added to make them look a little sharper .......play around with it to see how things look to you. (no set standard there sorry LOL) some of the best stuff out there for basic image work is by a guy named TAZ TALLY just plug in to google i have gone to 3 of his workshops and have a few of his videos great stuff. hope this helps a little :o) |

:D I work in a magazine... I know all about that stuff... We actually output at 250 dpi. Im going to an Adobe seminar in 2 days.. should be interesting

sorry i mis spoke that was 150 line screen i was talking about LOL so you are printing using a 250 line screen? |
