Don't blame standardization and code laws. Blame the architect who designed your neighborhood. They build them with one thing in mind.

I've never heard/seen a site with diferent sized images for different resolutions. The only thing that comes close is the stretch-to-fit flash sites that are out there that I know of. And those use vectors.

If somebody is making multiple images/html for different resolutions, they are very, very nutty.

yikes! looks like our challenge is gone. if they put it back up, i'll post what i have!

I think it's there...it's just moved the next page maybe.
