Just wanted to say good-bye

You all are not being fair everybody... I believe Gaussian has provided a great service to this forum. He has given us a focal point for our childish aggressions--instead of Matt_boy's hairy legs, or Dek's skinny legs, or.... P-man's self-obsession (you know what I mean).

At 35, I have one bit of advice, Gaus--don't burn your bridges. The graphics world is a small one at times. I've done the same pilgrimage you're about to undertake myself at one point, and I wound up right back here. There are some very talented professionals here--if you had invested more time, you would have started to see them. Most of them are pretty quiet. But most of all, the people here (professional and wannabe's) are almost always ready to reach out and help someone who wants it.

I wish you luck, and no hard feelings (at least from me--sounds like you pissed off some others).
