Deker, your father needs help. Badly, quickly, today if possible. I could recomend a few people you need lol.

Why do people get so obessesed with technology they don't take time to pause to see if they need it. Or can even use it in a practical manner. I mean theres getting spiffy stuff cause its fun, like a palm, but 3 monitors? its more of a pain i the ass then helpful!! lol

Yeah, I'd really like 2, to put palettes on one and the image or dreamweaver on the other. but he gets a little carried away. he really never even used or understood 2 monitors... and now he just looks kinda lost with 3.

My uncle's partner (as in business partner in graphic design company) has two 22' plasma screens hooked up to his G4 dual Mac.

haha. And yes, he can use programs, Deker, i felt a lot of sympathy for your father in that short you posted. :(

TheMacestPanda; does OSX crash at all? I heard that it's 'crash proof' due to the Unix base..

no no no, you dont understand.

we dont write CODE with MSword, we use it as a WYSIWYG EDITOR! AND IT SUCKS!!!

and whats worse is the ugly ass webpages we are forced to create. we just copy out of a book and its supposed to teach us how to make a web page..
if any of you have ever used 'Word Art' in MSword you will know what i mean..

Im positive MSword(webpage editor) was designed so 40 year old women could make a page to show pictures of their dog to their grandma in oklahoma.

ya notepad rules =) and so does GIMP....

oh ya and about crashing OSX, ive had it crash on me once, and i got it when it first came out, and umm it crashed cus i ran it for 2 months straight and was doing some crazy ****, and installing weird things and all that stuff, but if ya use it normal and dont push it is crash proof 99% of the time, im not gonna lie, it can freeze it is possible its just very unlikely, and i pushed it way to hard that time, i think my actually computer and not the OS gave up, damn hardware :D

but OSX is great =) but i have noticed after about 2 weeks of straigh usage it will get buggy and slow so to fix that all you do it log off and log back on an d its all good =)
