I feel for ya Dek... I went through the waiting game for just over a year. I called EVERY week.

My Dad checked into satellite and found the same thing as pank.... cost prohibitive and not that great a performance. His best bet is wireless in the next year. ::sigh::

yep...where i live i had to wait for cable or something like that for about 3 years....beleive me it sucked...i called there very day....wrote letters....emails....etc...and i still dont have it....lol...so im know how you fell deker....

Yeah satellite is way too much. Plus you have that whole lag thing because of the signal traveling 80,000 miles or something.

Chattanooga has cable, dsl, and wireless, but i'm on the outskirts of chattanooga in a little suburb called Ooltewah.

I found out that some people on my street have cable internet though. So maybe their computer systems just weren't updated because I just had the cable tv turned on yesterday. 'Cause it said my area code is covered, just not my house.
