The colors within the "Save-For-Web" image below will not match the colors in your actual button bar (as viewed in a browser) because I saved it as a GIF to reduce file size, but the readings I took while making the screenshot, and in Photoshop, were accurate. Hope this sheds some light on your discrepancies. |

My view of this site is exactly like Utopian23's.

Thanks for posting that U23. Here is a problem. From your screen shot that you posted the buttons (add reply, new post, irc, etc.) Look very light purple and they are actually a sort of baby blue. I see you mentioned that the colors in your save for web won't match up correctly. PLEASE tell me the buttons are actually baby blue and NOT light purple/violet like they appear in your pic. Just making sure...

Thanks again. U23 while you did do that and give me those values you did not mention if you agree with background color on your end. I know you use a Mac so it may be a little different but for the sake of sanity would you agree that this background or RGB values that you used were a grey'ish blue for the background and not a lively purple like I used to see on my old monitor ??

Yuppers, Bob...the buttons appear as a light blue. And as for the background...the RGB numbers reflect well what I see... a medium gray with a slighly bluish hue...kind of a dark slate. |

every monitor I own shows it as a a greyish blue. I havent had time to calibrate my monitors back to what they used to be. U23, if you have a good link for doing that, post it please. I need to calibrate for screen, don't care much about print. btw - on my brothers pos IBM monitor, the background looks dark purple. |
