Deleted the old thread because that was a stupid way of doing it. It had zero ways of working so here is the topic once again...

Ok, new computer = new monitor. Trying to make sure the color, gamma, bla bla is set correctly and I'm still struggling.

Is the background of this site Blue'ish grey (sort of dull)...
or a vibrant sort of purple...

Looks very purple on my old monitor and much duller blue grey on the new one...

Definitely. My eyes, and photoshop's eye dropper are telling me the same thing.

Shame, because I like the way the site looks on that one better.

Actually it's not "that" far off. But I did notice the difference pretty quick. Even sites like 2A look a totally different color now. That site looks much duller blue than the wallpaper I have on my old computer...

Oh and dull blue is probably not the "best" way to descibe it but it's going to take some getting used to. Now the background on the side scroller CSS still looks a bit purple to me...

Yeah. 2advanced is WAY dull blue.

The whole world used to be soooo much more vibrant with my old incorrect monitor...

That's pretty close to how the background color looked...

Hey that means all the copy cats http://www.csdanmark.dk/ are using the wrong colors than what I intended. Now who's the silly one. Hmmm....
