I don't understand alot of things... like the whole boy band phenomenon, for example.

Sorry about the gender mix up, DPQ. my fault.

As far as getting wasted.... Don't judge. A lot of good people like to have a good time. Who cares how they do it. At least it's not Heroin, right? "Holier than thou"....MUCH?! Why don't you all preach to me about abortion and the death penalty while you're at it. That would be fun.

I, for one, like to go out with my friends and drink beer. Responsibly. It's not a "cool " issue. it's social recreation. The wasted part is pretty arbitrary. That's dumb. I'm with you on that.

like I said in my last post. I'm not your mommy, or your daddy, so do whatever the hell you want. I'll do the same. Thanks.

I didn't say anyone shouldn't do it. I just voiced my opinion that I don't understand it and think it's rather dumb.

My theory is that this is a direct result of all the drug people took in the 60's. Thus theres a whole generation of people who have the sad deformity of not being able to tell if music is good or not. Thus the music industry teamed up with the gov't top people on a plot to brainwashing American's youth. Get 'em while they are young and impressionable and make them obsess over BAD music, after that you can make them believe anything.
mwhaha

Yah, a good time. I can have fun with a stuff weasel and the location of the nearest store sample tray. I can't understand why people feel that they are 'having more fun' drinking when its just they are loosing the ability to TELL THE DIFFERENCE between fun and ****ty.

Who cares how they do it. At least it's not Heroin, right? "Holier than thou"....MUCH?! Why don't you all preach to me about abortion and the death penalty while you're at it. That would be fun.

*count down from 10....slowly* Ok. What does this have to do with drinking people being stupid because of it? Murder is worse than drinking but it doesn't make drinking and getting drunk any less stupid. Thats total BS logic to even bring that up. Its the same BS people try to bring up when stealing programs. 'wee gee golly, atleast i'm not stealing cars' yah, whatever. What a cop out.

it's social recreation

Thats what the industry atleast trys to impress upon people.

Hannity? Combs? Is that you?! Like any good politician... Perfectly self-righteous, not very representative, and obviously firm on their ways. Some people like that in a person.

I need to get back to work, but maybe we can discuss it further over a cold one sometime.... Whaddya say? C'mon! Let me buy ya a ZIMA!!
:D

soap box belongs to someone else now, coach. I'm out.

Sorry, to clarify:

Zima tastes like a day old 7-up with alcohol in it. It's popular among non-beer drinkers. I've only tried it once or twice, and it doesn't really do it for me. Which isn't saying it's bad, just not my style. (I don't want the Zima police after me!)

I prefer Newcastle Brown Ale, a lighter amber import, not too heavy, not too light. Which isn't saying everyone should drink it, just my style. (I don't what the non-Newcastle-drinker police after me, either.)

Just me, or is this thread pretty strung out and pointless now? Unless.... ugh.
