Reality Check

So why not assume everyone is the same age as you. Better yet, make people's ages up. Make their names up. Make their entire history up. Are we having lots of 'fun' now?!?

Its still a useless question. Knowing someones age tells you very little about them expect, perhaps, what they might be learning school.

No you can go ahead and socialize, i never said no one should post their age. Just that its useless to know someones age when you could ask so many different and better questions.

Age and sex, uesless usually. Good to know, sure, in the whole 'who the hell are you' sort of questions. but to JUST ask their age? Bah.

People like to compare. Who cares?

You get curious about something, you ask. Leave it be. Making a big deal out of someones curiousity is worse than someone asking the question they care to ask.

I'm 19. I'll be 20 in January. Then a year after that, I'll be 21. Then a year after that, I'll be 22 going on 23. Then I'm going to skip to being 27, because I feel like it.

Torn is like 40. Or late 30's. He also wears camo hunting caps. He recently had a baby. He posted pictures of it. He works at a printing company. He prints stuff.

i'm 13 1/2.

btw, when does semester end there?? cause my school semester ended like... a month ago, and a month more b4 i get back to school....

Everyone is still in school here. I think most get out in a week or two though. Then go back a couple of days into January most likely. You see, we have this thing here called "Christmas" which is a national holiday, and we all get off of work and school to celebrate. Then a few days after that, we have another national holiday called "New Year" where we celebrate the coming of a new year. I don't know if you have either of those things in Singapore. But I do know they are pretty anal about chewing gum or something.

And no, Torn is not young at heart. He's a bitter, grumpy old fuddy-duddy stick-in-the-mud. Bah.
