xbox or PS2

Plus you can't store the movies on a hard drive with the PS2, you have to burn them all on disks and stuff. :(

I'm not looking for a console... I'm looking for a new standalone dvd... and I want that because I have a TV much bigger than my monitors and I like my couch... and you can eat and not have crumbs all over your keyboard... and the list goes on and on....

and I heard these new console thinghies read dvds...so I thought I'd kill two birds with one stone...

no HDD for the new ps2 tho...

and xbox sucks b/c...well, the only good games for it is halo and halo2.

Onclesam, because some people don't use their computers for games, some people don't have a fast enough computer for games, and mostly, most console games aren't available on a computer.

And the PSP won't even be out for 3 months, and saying the only games for the Xbox are Halo 1/2 is pretty unfair.... Fanboy. ;)

but if u go to japan and get the psp it's like the equiv of $200...right? and it's region free, so it's all G.

I just saw the new PS2 slim version tonight. It's the size of a small hardcover book. Frickin' amazing!

Yeah, there are some good reasons, but I just find computer games 1000x better, because they use the latest technologies, they have much more potential (if you compare a keyboard to a gamepad) and I basically play games only for their multiplayer aspect, so obviously pc games are superior for that, but that's just me and my monitor is alot better then my tv, haha. But yeah, consoles are a little more useful when eating at the same time :P

I agree. PS2. Oh, and you have to get a copy of Karaoke Revolution!
