Yeah as soon as Tiger is one sale, they'll put it in the new Macs. I wouldn't wait though... It's just $100 to upgrade. But if you are short on cash or just don't like the idea of having to upgrade a few months after you buy it, then wait.

to be honest, if you can i'd get a mac BEFORE tiger comes out. apple does well to test their OS releases and release solid software, at the same time there's bound to be a few glitches and i'm not gonna throw it on a box with all my work and software first day out of the box.

if tiger is out in june or so (which is what we're assuming) i'm giving it at least 4 or 5 months and an update or two before i replace panther on my iBook and the potential other machine i will hopefully be looking at sometime soon

I'm going to be in line buying Tiger as soon as they put it on the shelf, and I'll install it as soon as I get home.
