Yeah that G5 thing was a typo. They've already changed it to a G4. I wrote about that on forevergeek.com last week. Now is the best time to buy a Powerbook in my opinion. This is going to be a rock solid machine, with all the best features as far as connections and things. The G5 is going to have some issues when it first comes out, I'm sure. I'd buy now if you're going to. This is also the best price you'll find for a long time. |

Hey Dek, I didn't know you wrote for forevergeek.com. That's cool. I normally check out 9rules and whitespace, and I wonder what'll happen to CSS Vault now that Scrivs sold it. Anyhow, about the Powerbook, I agree it's time to buy one. I've gotta rack up some cash though, soon. |

The new owner of the vault is going to keep updating it supposedly, and then make improvements I guess. Paul is about to launch a new video game site as well. We'll probably launch it on monday. Then he has two more in the works also. busy guy.

Careful editorial review results in much more interesting reading, don't you think?

Hey Dek, do you know if the new Powerbooks are shipping with Tiger or are they still shipping with Panther? Seems like it's Panther to me. Any idea when they might ship with Tiger or how does this work? Thanks for your time...cheers! |

Panther, as soon as Tiger comes out, they will all ship with that. At least that is how Apple has done it in the past. Even with iLife 05.

Thanks for the info msz070, I'm a new jack to the mac scene, and I'm looking to make my first purchase. So Deker advised to wait for Tiger to come out so I wouldn't have to upgrade so soon, but I didn't know when it would be released. So I might wait as I still have to save up some money. But thanks again for you response man.
