Some of you might have heard of this already, and I'm not sure how long it's been around, but I just saw it on Gizmodo, and HAD TO install it. http://www.iosart.com/foxytunes/firefox/ It's an extension for firefox, that gives you controls for iTunes (or almost any other music player for that matter) in your browser. AND it's skinnable. Here's mine: You get the idea. I know there's a bunch of firefox users out there, so I know someone else will think this is cool. |

Pretty slick. I just use http://synergy.wincent.com/ though. So I can press Command + F11 or F10 to skip tracks and stuff from any application. Hooray.

Dang Dek, know of anything like that for windows? My keyboard's a cherry (apparently a german company) that must've thought it'd be a good idea to make desktop keyboards that were literally the size of those found on laptops. That means I can execute hotkeys like nobody's business, cuz every key is about the distance away from me as a finger length. However, being a desktop keyboard, there's none of the all around weirdness of using an awkward laptop keyboard, that lies completely flat. |

Well, yeah, the exception is of course a mac laptop keyboard. I'm talking about fat pc laptops, where the buttons are like a good 2 inches above the tabletop, and there's nowhere really for your wrists to go. Of course, when your wrists are only about 3/4ths of an inch off the table, then it's a different story. |

I have this ridiculous wrist brace that I wear now. It has a built in wrist rest. It's like a bean bag on my palm. It's funny. But at least my wrist doesn't ache after 10 hours of mousing.

LOL! Pics, Deker, pics! As for the extension, i used it for awhile but it's pretty useless (at least for winamp). If i have it on shuffle, and press next track, it doesn't honor the shuffle option and goes to the very next track. :\ Nos. |

Yeah. It's this competitive sport I'm in you know... and it's just part of the deal that you have to type one handed. So i have to take precautions to make sure I'm ready for the big event.
