Message for atrox more specifically

I didn't read all this debate based on what you hear on either the big television stations, because obviously if you base your opinion only on what you see on tv or even on the biggest newspapers, you don't realize what's going on in your country. Haha, comon now are you that blind? Do you really beleive that what you see in the medias is there to inform you of what's really happening in Irak or anywhere else for that matter?

Do something, open your tv, listen to the news for half an hour (on whatever freaking station) and think about what you saw/heard. Did you learn anything consistent, anything that would inform you of the real problems in Irak (or anywhere else)? Not which American got shot today or how many Iraki got blown off by a missile, the problems behind that. The solutions that could put a stop to this whole carnage? No, there is nothing of that matter, because they chose a long time ago that the population don't need to know these kind of informations for several reasons (one of them being to brush aside the dissident movements who could be harmful to the people who control your country and pretty much all countries), but I'm not gonna go further, cause it's kind of off topic.

But what I'm saying is if you're gonna argue with facts and proaganda you hear on tv, you should revise your position and ask yourself a few more questions and make a little more research on the subject.... NOTE: that means to look somewhere else then your own medias (american medias). Europeens, Canadians to have an overview of everyone's thought (btw if you really beleive Euro's are some idiots that your country try to protect, you got some serious troubles, because that's the last thing usa is thinking about).

May I suggest you a book I read last semester that is very interesting? It gives you a description of your medias and what's going on in our great democraty. It's related to this topic and could inform you alot. Its called Media Control: The Spectacular Achievements of Propaganda (1997) written by Noam Chomsky and Robert W. McChesney, two Americans if you were wondering.

Hmm I need to stop writing.

First off moron, i dont know what world you are living in but almost all forms of media are run by liberals in this country, and secondly its Iraq not Irak.

If you dont know those two things its not worth reading past your first paragraph.

So where do you get all your information from? Does the Republican party invite you to meetings so you can sit in on what they are discussing? Furthermore, do you intelligently see the oppositions point of view so that you can put forth an arguement that challenges their facts?

I love how people like you bitch and moan about the media and say we are all spoon fed their crap, when its completly obvious that you are being spoon fed yourself. You don't rationally look at any situation and don't see that you're being a huge hypocrit.

Answer me this. Do you agree with ANY Liberal aspects at all? My bet, is you would dismiss that question just because I said the word "liberal".

People its a common sence fact that most of the damn media is liberal....that said(for the tenth time) how am I being spoon fed. Any liberal that says they arent influenced through the media are liars, why? because media everywhere is liberal.

How can you say that media isnt controlled by the liberals, tell me. Have you asked yourself how many media corporations are liberal, have you asked yourself how many movies expressing liberal ideas have been made this election year. How bout movies made supporting conservatives.
Michael Moore had no trouble getting his bull**** movie in the big screens, did the movie about Kerrys bad war record make it to the movies...no.

The media is controlled by the libs, they need every reasource possible to win this election, they know Kerry sucks, but the libs would rather have **** then a conservtive so they go about their propaganda spreading.

Do I agree with anything liberal....hmm. I'll think about it, i am a bit moderate in the abortion issue though.

Where did I at all say the media was/wasn't controlled by the Liberals? I mearly asked if you make informed opinions...if you get both sides to a story. I think you're trying to blow a whole lot of smoke, and really have nothing else to say.

Hmm, why are you calling me a moron, did I insult you without knowing it? Yes, I used the french word for "Iraq". My bad, english isn't my native language and I was confusing the two terms. Now that you don't want to read my post because of that, it's your choice.

Liberal medias? You didn't read my post so I have nothing to add, I still recommand you that book if you're interested.

Or you can also stick to your opinions and views of the world and call me names

Good recommendation OnCleSAm. Atrox, you should also read Rogue States "The Rule of Force in World Affairs" by Noam Chomsky. It's good for the brain.
