After 3 years, they finally release a new theme, corresponding with the release of Media Center 2005 though. Works on XP, even though it says it won't:

Download Theme: http://download.microsoft.com/download/5/2/9/5295fa0c-575a-4ee6-b186-0a8cf7ddfde6/WindowsXP-TabletPC-EnergyBlueTheme-x86-ENU.exe

To install: Download to your hard drive. Right-click the file, and using WinZip or WinRar, extract the files to: C:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes

Enjoy.

BAAA HA HA HA HA HA

THat's IT?!

I downloaded it, installed it, all the while thinking, wow, this might be really cool!, But...

It appears to be nothing more than a slightly lighter version of the regular blue theme. Doesn't matter either way, I use windows classic. WAY less ram intensive.

It's free, and there are plenty of themes for it at Deviant.

This somehow finally pushed me to get service pack 2. Only took me like 3 hours to finally download and install it, and now my comp doesn't need to be restarted after the screen saver comes on, a process which requires me to immediately run ad aware and spybot s&d, taking on the average 5-10 minutes. The of course, I have to end about a dozen errant processes, that cause even more pop-ups. Then of course, SP2 has rendered windows media player completely inert. Uninstalled it, in fact, and furthermore, will not let me reinstall it, even on the 5th try, citing a missing dll. It was there before I got SP2, why not now? Also on what I can only assume is an unrelated matter, my internet is moving as slow as cold molasses through a plastic straw. AND, as the icing on the piss-me-off cake that my computer's been baking for the last week or so, since SP2's security updates, it asks me which of my startup programs I want to run at startup. How about ALL OF THEM. That's why they're in the startup folder.

iTunes, Photoshop, Stickies.

Seriously, Stickies?! What kind of security risk do Stickies pose? The program's been unchanged since like 1995.

Man...

If only every operating system worked this smoothly.
