My latest desktop. the original color of the wallpaper was a mustardy yellow, but it didnt match the pink hue's in my visual style, so I changed it. http://antistatik.oesm.org/sigs/desktop.gif |

yeah... about using the desktop as a storage place for files and folders. I just like it like that. I put everything there, Windows button + M, I thinks it's the fastest way to get my files insted of looking for them in some folder or something. This is just a way that I have always been using. And then it's good then you save something or open something... You just have to press the "one folder up" button a few times and you always end up at the desktop instead of clicking to different folders and stuff... |

^^ I do the same thing, but then when my desktop is completly full I just clean it up by deleting useless stuff and putting other things in folders. Then it's like a new start :o

These threads are EVIL! (lol). I cant participate because last time i did i ended up moving my taskbar to the top of my screen, and it's never gone back! I love it this way (and recommend it)....but for some reason windows and some other programs dont like it. They get all sorts of confused and usually the task bar is covering the titlebar and i cant get maximize to work like it should. evil thread! |

right click on your taskbar and select properties, then check auto-hide the taskbar. It really helps ;).
