:: thread hijack :: The GOP is catching on to the whole Kerry has no backbone for policy theme... http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/ap/20040728/ap_on_el_pr/cvn_loyal_opposition_22
As Republican critics of Fahrenheit 911 would say, “That’s nothing but propaganda.” :p |

I got to listen to the video now that I'm home (political sites are blocked at work... I don't know why teamphotoshop isn't--it's one of the most political sites I'm ever on). Did you listen to the WHOLE video? Oh, my GOSH!!! I think the Flipper theme song in the middle was very appropriate. The GOP, btw, has offered to send the entire content of any video clipped in their montage to anyone who requests them. Listen to the WHOLE thing! Given the state of things in the Middle east with Iran renewing their nuclear building capabilities, Syria is still Syria... I don't know if I'll be able to sleep for the next four years if this guy is elected... |

"I don't know if I'll be able to sleep for the next four years if this guy is elected.." welcome to my world, dude... :( wait. see if you get Nuclear Trash dumped in your backyard, your civil rights taken away, your overtime pay taken away and your medicine prices tripled, and your family members sent into a war to pay for the kids they've only met for 4 days while on leave. remember when a president didn't affect your day-to-day??? wierd. |

The way I see politics is that sometimes you hand in a couple cards to get a better deck. You negotiate and compromise and yadda yadda… I don’t see anything wrong with Kerry changing his stance on things if he has good reasons for doing so. It doesn’t even seem like the republicans are putting much effort into exploring the reasons why he made certain decisions. So of course I'm not going to take it that seriously. All I hear is “Look! He said this and now he said this! And we have it on VIDEO!” (I think “anything goes” in the misc section can apply to politics too. :p ) |
