Looking back through your previous posts Atomic, it is clear that you are not adverse to ruffling feathers, as others here have advised take a step back and breathe. I post when I feel like it, not at your behest or others. I even often purposely overlook plaintiff cries for help because I can't be bothered to reply at that moment, Does that make me a bad person? Maybe. Do I care? No. If you can't wait up to a day or two for an answer to your problem then you really should take up another hobby. Learn for yourself, learn to search forums for answers that have already been given a thousand times, but don't whine about the slow pace of things. |

Lol, I am breathing and I'm fine. Am I coming off as spastic and hyper in my posts? I don't think so. I agree when posting when you feel like it, I do too. I'm not waiting for an answer for any problem. I just like to hear what people have to say about things, thats all. Is that really so bad? It's like saying, "Try to talk a little more."

Not that i care to argue but: Those are demands.....not suggestions. Thats complaining, not suggesting. Basically just take a breather. If you have a real suggestion, then post in suggestions, and we can have a real talk about it. Just be sure its a resonable one....or its a problem that need to be addressed. "Reponds faster!!!" threads only start fires. |

Alright, regardless of what you have said, do NOT post every 7 minutes, even to prove you can do it. I don't want to have to sort through your posts, meaningless probably. You are a new person here. You can't just come here and expect us to conform to your expectations so we can help you better. If someone doesn't have input, why force them to talk? Well...not force cause you can't force us anyways. Most of the good points have already been said, but if you seriously think you will get us all to start posting faster, this isn't the forum for you. Goto SA or something, they have tons of members. Maybe you can persuade them to post every 7 minutes. Making this post was pointless. I'm sure other members now see you as a nuisance. and supah...dude I swear you are the funniest guy ever. |

I have been at these forums, constantly active, for the past 3 years and I haven't even broken 2,000 posts, it isn't really how much you post, it is what you post, and when you post it. I think it is insane that someone should post every 7 minutes, if everyone were to even try that it would result in massive spam. If you have looked around this forum, you may have noticed that topics don't constantly get 'bumped' people don't randomly start flame wars, and when there are arguments, they are kept mature, and if they aren't the mods see to that. People don't end things with, !!!111!!!!OMG either. So I guess you can say, we aren't your typical forums. |

lol at this thread... Many of the people here have jobs and/or school to take care of, atomicfog. For instance I read the forum while I'm at work, usually for only a few seconds at a time when the boss is out of the office or in another room. I generally skip the photoshop help forums altogether because I know I won't have time to research an answer and post a helpful reply. There are lots of others that are in a similar situation. We come here for fun, whether we have fun by helping others, asking questions, or just hanging out, it doesn't really make a difference. The point is if you are pressuring people into posting more often, it doesn't seem as fun anymore. It's more like the work that we are trying to avoid by being here in the first place. I know it can be frustrating sometimes to be excited about receiving a response to your last post and have to wait a couple of hours, but usually it's worth it because the post will actually help you (if you asked a question). If you are looking for immediate responses, I'd recommend another forum. www.yayhooray.com is one that I visit regularly as well as this one, but it is so busy and so full of completely useless posts that I can't really keep up reading the posts, let alone posting and contributing. That is also a forum that has basically no rules so there is a ton of flaming, random posts, spamming, etc. I go there for fun, but I come here when I really want a thoughtful reply to a problem I'm having. And if I have to wait a couple of hours to get that response, so be it. If I really had a serious problem, I would be calling Adobe, not posting in a free forum run by volunteers. |

Everything has been said ... I've been here since the start and before this place started plus a number of other members who are the same. This is the first time ever has someone mentioned the forum being too slow or not being helpful. We'll help when we can and when we have the time to. People around here have day jobs and lurking around TPS or any other forums wouldn't be productive eh? As far as forums are concerned, I'm liking TPS the most due to its mature nature. People post when needed and don't flame each other just cause they can. I see other forums where just cause someone posts something that has been posted before.. The Repost Police comes handcuffing, flame and nonsense posts starts flooding. 15 members online doesn't necessarily mean anything. They could be newbie members, search engine spiders, guests.. Anybody. Its just the nature of this forum since the beginning and before. A moderated forum with its own norm. Anyways, seeing you've been pretty productive its a good thing itself. Stay around. |

Yes. We don't want to hate you, but you are making it real easy ;) Just kidding, I don't have the strength to hate anyone much, but just ease off, as you are new it is for you to get a feel of the pace and content of this board not for us to fall into step with you. I am sure that you are not an asshat, it just that you are coming off a Lil strong and putting established members noses' outta joint. As has been said, stick around and get used to the pace, after all people like Utopian and myself need 18hrs a day in the toilet, emptying our colostomy bags before we can even consider tottering to the computer ;) |
