20", 23" and 30" aluminum LCD displays. The 30" is $3300 and requires a special video card with two DVI plugs to function. (both dvi plugs drive the monitor) Also Safari will now have a built-in RSS reader. There's a new search function in OSX that allows you to search for anything. You can search in natural language like this: "find my keynote presentation by phil which I opened last week" Bunch of new audio/video stuff that I don't understand too. |

"For example, you can rename a group of image files so they all share the same base name but are numbered sequentially (ProductShot001.jpg, ProductShot002.jpg, etc.) in seconds. Once they’re renamed, Automator can automatically scale every image, create an archive and then attach it to a new email message and send the message. After you create a Workflow, you execute it by clicking the Run button in the Workflow document window. Automator performs each step in the Workflow in order until your work is done." OMG that is freaking awesome. |

that does rock. and that 30" display is freakin' HUGE. did you see it next to the G5? wow. anyone else think they seem a bit pricey tho? of course the 30" would cost a mint but the 20" is $1299... chris |

Well of course they're expensive. The old 17" is only $700 now though. That's pretty good.

the new ones are pretty sweet, and tiger looks pretty sweet. Only thing that kinda is crappy is that you need the geforce 6800 to use the 30" but if you can afford one, I guess you can afford the 6800 too.

Yeah they are pretty nice. I'd never buy one, but they are nice. You could get a Dual G5 and 2 very nice 19" CRT's for the price of one 30" cinema display.

Holy crap, you can purchase a car for less than that. Those are pretty damn sweet though. |

Displays = I think my apple 21" is flickering, all of a sudden. I need to replace it! OSX Tiger = zzzzzz. IMO. I'll buy it if it's $19.99. |
