There is an extension that makes all links open in a new tab, but it hasn't been updated to .9 yet.

From these last few posts you asll should now know why I've chosen to stick with the full Mozilla. You may think it's bloated, but if you have any sort of modern system, the footprint is negigible, even if you load every module. And rendering of anything is as quick as anything else I've tried. PDF's require a 3rd-party (non-Adobe) plugin, but it's no big deal to install and use, and it works just fine. Want more features from the PDF? Save it to your desktop and open with the latest Adobe Reader.

Mozilla is fast and stable for me, and does pretty much everything I want...but YES, I have some usability issues, particularly when it comes to managing bookmarks.

I WILL keep watching FireFox (and Thunderbird), though, and reading reviews as it comes closer to its 1.0 release.

Firefox now has .Mac-like bookmark syncing! Cross-platform! Sweet!

It uses your own FTP info to upload the xml file and download it to other installations of Firefox.

haha, so do you not use google at all and instead just ask people on messageboards for links to everything you are interested in?

Keep me updated on how to do that, it bugs me having to right click and "open in new tab" every time.
