Yeah I wanted some mouse gestures. But no. Also, does the notification thing work? Where it notifies a bookmarked page is updated? I wanted it to say "you've got mail" every time my Gmail updated but it didn't seem to be working. maybe it just isn't sensitive enough to notice one table row that changed or something. |

I use it. I prefer Evolution over any other mail client, but since I am so sick of dual booting I have been a windows user as my desktop for a while and would prefer not to use Outlook or Outlook Express. My thoughts on Thunderbird? It doesn't have a lot of options. It's basically equivalent to Outlook Express. But... It works great otherwise. I just reinstalled everything last Friday and the version I downloaded and have been using since then has not crashed or anything. (not sure if there was a new version from what I was using a few months back.) I personally wish there was an Evolution ported for windows. That is probably one of the best mail clients out there, imo. Maybe not as feature rich as Outlook, but close enough. |

I'm moving away from default MS stuff. IE attracts adwares and spywares, Outlook harvest viruses. After switching to Firefox/Thunderbird, no more viruses or spyware. The only once I get during scans are just tracker cookies.

These last few viruses were pretty scary. I don't really get viruses *knocks on wood*, but it's nice to use different apps you know are really targeted by viruses and bad code...

I wish firefox had the multiple page tabs that avant browser has. I’d switch if it did.

Flackbait, Firefox does have tabs, if that's what you're talking about. It's had them since the first release I think. IE is the only browser that doesn't.

I never used different browsers before, because I didn't really know about them and because I never felt the need to try something different then my old IE. But since everyone are saying good things about them, I guess I could give them a try. I just downloaded Firefox. Anyone can give me the link to Mozilla or whatever the name is. thx |
