Don't know if this helps but there are plenty of CD templates out there. Discmakers, Sony, etc... might have kept you from needing to try 10 copies to get them aligned. They come in many formats, eps, pagemaker, etc...

I am using the Bypass tray which is number 5, so it will do duplex. Oh and the reason im having problems is because im using 11X17 sheets of paper then printing more about 3 of them on each sheet. Im thinking i should get the same size paper ? but i dont think this machine prints up to the edge of the paper....or does it ? do you know Axiom since you have some experience with the docucolor? and yea i am using 100Lb gloss coated paper 89 Brightness.... Oh yah and Marble i have the sizes correct. My problem is that when the printer pulls the paper to print the other side it doesnt print exactly on the other side (unaligned) but its aligned the same in PageMaker. So what i did was move the one that was off down, compensating for the machine... |

That’s actually pretty common. It’s the way your printer grabs the paper. It will hardly ever match up exactly. What I would do is print each side separately and then use spray mount and glue them. That’s a good technique to use when you’re just making a comp. If the people go and get your cd cover printed they won’t have a problem with it not aligning.
