It'll be interesting to see what they come up with. I'm glad there will be the option to switch to older interfaces.

honestly, i could care less at this point.

The arrival of Longhorn has also been pushed back until mid-2006, making the need for such requirements less urgent.


i'm not too concerned, or really even that interested, in an OS that's at least two years away...

The way I figure it, I'll wait the 2 years for it to come out then wait another year or so until they work the bugs out.

Do they ever work all the bugs out of Windows? I think not. I've had to download new updates every single day this week for the PC at work. Every day. That's crazy. Crazy.

They don't, but there's a huge difference from when they first release it and when its been out for a year or so and have a lot of updates.
