I'd rather drive down the highway and chuck paintballs out the window.

I recommend this forum for all your needs: http://www.paintballforum.com/forum/index.php Just post anything there and it will be answered in a couple hours. And for a good solid gun I recommend the Tipmann 98 custom. And never buy Brass Eagle paintballs, they suck (read: they break in your barrel so you have to stop and clean it in the middle of a match). This is an awesome deal for starters. It comes with everything you need: http://www.paintballgateway.com/spydxtrapac.html And here are two other stores: www.pbfanatics.com (ha, not peanut butter fanatics) www.paintball-discounters.com (never used them) But of course if you find a paintballing place near you, then you can rent for about 30 bucks and it's a pretty decent deal. But if you know you are going to go more than 4 or 5 times, then definately buy your own sh*t. |

I've got a Tippmann 98 Custom. Runs for about 119 (last time I checked) and is probably one of the most durable paintball guns around. Spyder's are also very nice guns, a friend of mine has an electric one. edit: Random... I should challenge you to a nice little game of war. ;) |

I also had a Tippmann 98 but sold it...:( Paintball is expensive even if you own your equipment...We would spend like 150 in paintballs alone and then the cost of getting our tanks filled..not to mention whatever they charge to let you play there...WAYYYY TOOOO Much fun though!!! Its fun for a once in a while thing for me... Alyssa |
Its fun for a once in a while thing for me...
Exactly why I go about once every 2 months. Weather in AZ is good to play in almost all but summer. :p |

Okay, here's where I'm leaning right now. PMI Piranha EVO -- not out yet, should start shipping in 10-20 days Piranha EVO Halo TPS hopper PMI 68ci 4500psi N2 bottle system Dye Invision Mask etc. ...course all of this will probably change by tomorrow. I would look at more tournament grade stuff, Random, but I have to buy two complete setups. One for me and one for my son. I've still got some old stuff around somewhere. I had a $500+ gun 10 years ago. The F-1 Illustrator (made by Feral Arms). After about 4 gens of that gun, they sold the design to Kingman, who made the Spyder, and then PMI knocked it off, along with a bunch of others. |

Now the sales rep for PMI is telling the store owner 3 to 4 weeks... sigh. :(

Why did you buy paintball gloves? That is the most useless piece of equipment ever. Buy regular gloves.
