Excellent project. Wonderful idea. But the site is no good. Why is the deck link last? And are you using iFrames? Why? And that tan color is no good. The site needs a major redesign, and some interactivity. Add a shoutbox or a site mailer, to get some discussion going. Then advertise a lot, and people will really want to. With a site like that you wont get very many people, which is too bad, since its a good project. Way to go - now redesign! :D tom
The project like that really take a lot of time... you think I have a lot of time? The design takes a lot of time... I like it the way it is.. its a simple design, doesnt have to be complicated... maybe you want to help me redisgn for you portfolio? I will get 54 people.. thats all i need. |

Thats fine. I was just trying to be helpful. If I started a project then I would want the best designers to take part in it. And as a contributer, I would want to know that the guy organizing it really cared about the project, and was going to see it through to completion, and really valued quality work. The caliber of the site design shows that. I'm not saying that I'm too good for your project or anything, but the main reason I'm not taking place is that it doesnt look professional enough. It's an excellent idea, but the presentation looks kinda cheap. And presentation is everything to me (and designers elsewhere? can I speak for others?). I don't have time to design you a site, and one of the reasons is that you don't really care about it :D. You've said that you don't care; so why would I spend my time on it? Just a couple things to think about. |

hmm. i looked through your cards. I found a problem. The fact that every card is done by a different designer will result in majorly clashing styles. It will be very inconsistent. If you don't mind that, then i guess you don't mind, but for example, the Queen of Hearts has a woman (as I would have expected) but the King just has a sword picture. Might wanna think about that. |
